Hello, I'm Lawrence James, preferably called Laz. My wife and I are partners and owners of Amber Swann Publishing Inc. and all of the material you may find to read has been created by us, unless it is otherwise noted. We came together about two years ago, simply because - the things we expressed interest in, were spot on. It was truly surprising to her, and I - how much two people could have in common coming from opposite sides of the Atlantic. She's originally from America, and I'm from England. We have now made our home here in England where we unite in our office to continue in our writing ventures. I shared with her my desire to write, and a dream to have someone to write with, a partner with whom I could spark ideas off of and receive feedback in return. As you have read, I've received much more than I bargained for, and believe me... there is no man more grateful than I for the magic that springs from us when we come together to spin a tale.

Together we have worked on, The Beauty of Man & Woman. That too will resume once we have completed our Webster Fields Trilogy. Princess Ces'alena is out in paperback and e-book. So far, we've received nothing buy rave reviews. Presently, we are working away on Gold Raven, in which the light at the end of the tunnel is shinning through to us brightly. So beware readers...it will be out soon to e-book.

Writing is not the only thing that interest me, I also love to sing. My wife happens to be, not only in love with me... but my voice as well. It is a project of mine to eventually record and place some sound samples of some of my favorite songs I love to sing to her, believe me, my voice was one of the things that helped me to reel this lady in. So with constant encouragement from her, I will eventually give you all a taste of what she praises so readily. Some other things about me that is highly important are my children. Most all are adults, save the youngest who is just 15 going on 30. There's five of them from 27 to my 15 year old. Lee, Arron, Ellie, France and the baby, Lauren. Lee, my oldest has also blessed me with a grandson, Brandon who is 4 years old now.

Besides my family, my writing, my singing, I'm also an avid movie buff, some of my favorites are Spencer Tracy, James Stewart, Jack Nicolson, and James Cagney. In the comedy arena, no one did it better than Laurel & Hardy, Abbot & Castello, Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis. My wife agrees. A favorite late night past-time after a heavy day of writing, is to lay back and snuggle watching an old black and white. I may have been born and bread in England, but I still say, no one does movies like America. I have every intention of visiting there one day. Basically... I am a man with an eclectic range of interests and talents. Poetry, animation, and helping my wife out of a writers block. She says in that, she is truly blessed. Where once she was stuck on a scene, sometimes for days - now with me, there is no such thing as writers block. We make up a true catalyst for writing. 

What's next? Many more novels. Between us, we are throwing around the idea for audio books, yes...that too. Scripts, skits and radio shows. All brought to you by yours truly. My wife and I.
